Project Manager

- 3-month fixed term contract chance
- Based full time in a newly refurbished Melbourne CBD office with occasional travel to Greenvale

- Purpose-led organisation supporting 10,000+ people annually The position The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering a technology project that supports VMCH's strategic objectives and operational improvements. The role will project manage the transition of Rostering, Time & Attendance and Payroll systems to respective new platforms which are currently in place for other VMCH business areas.

The role will ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high stakeholder satisfaction across VMCH's diverse care and community service environments.

The responsibilities

- Develop a comprehensive project plan, schedule and work breakdown structure
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria
- Serve as the primary communication point for internal stakeholders, external vendors and senior leadership
- Maintain accurate and compliant project documentation, including plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs and change registers
- Schedule and facilitate project meetings, workshops and steering committee sessions
- Prepare agendas, presentations, documentation and minutes




- Develop and manage project budgets
- Lead the respective change initiative through communication planning, training coordination, and workforce engagement where required
- Lead the design, configuration and testing of award interpretation rules in the Time & Attendance platform to ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards and payroll requirements and accurate payroll outcomes.
- Lead payroll implementation and cutover activities, including data migration, parallel payroll runs, testing and successful go-live execution.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, training and business readiness activities to support successful adoption of new systems.
- Initiate and complete system decommissions as required.

What’s required

- Tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Project Management or a related area
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and EmpLive (desirable)
- Experience with Payroll, Time & Attendance and Rostering system delivery projects (desirable)
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, hybrid models)
- Experience delivering infrastructure, application, or digital transformation projects
- Strong end to end IT project management capability, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication,



negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions focused mindset
- Strong understanding of project governance, change management, and IT delivery frameworks
- High level of attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
