Role Description

- This full-time Project Coordinator role at Cas Facade is an on-site position based in Melbourne.
- The Project Coordinator will support the planning and delivery of façade projects by organizing schedules, tracking progress, and coordinating tasks between internal teams and contractors.Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining project documentation, updating status reports, assisting with quotes and variations, and ensuring materials, drawings, and approvals are available on time.
- The role involves attending site meetings as required, following up on action items, monitoring project timelines and budgets, and escalating risks or delays to project managers.
- The Project Coordinator will also help improve project processes, maintain accurate records in project management systems, and contribute to a safe and compliant work environment.
- Regular physical labour work is not required, however occational helping hand is preferred.
- Welling to learn new product information.

Qualifications

- Experience in project coordination or administration within construction, engineering, or a related field.
- Basic organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.




- Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., MS Office, Excel, Matrak, scheduling tools).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for liaising with internal and site teams(English and Chinese).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, reporting, and record keeping(such as checking packing list).
- Ability to work on-site in Melbourne varies sites, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build positive working relationships.
- Basic understanding of construction, façade systems or structure steel is desirable; prior experience in the building industry is an advantage. (such as identifying problems in a facade panel)
- Relevant tertiary qualification or certificate in construction management, project management, or a related discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues and supporting solutions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Current situation:

- The following year would mostly be in Truganina site office and footscray area.
- Most of the projects now are on either the west side like Truganina or close to city area, thus driving a car is essential.
- Many different products are involved in the business. Thus we need someone who is fast learning. However it's not about quick learning into deep knowledge about each product. It's more about fast learning of keep track of all the different components, then gradually learn about them.
