Vitil are supporting our commercial property client to grow their consulting capacity. We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented property & telecommunication consultant to join in either a full time or permanent part-time 0.8 FTE basis. The role will primarily involve the review, management, negotiation and valuation of telecommunications property agreements, including leases, licences, easements, access arrangements and other forms of land tenure, supporting government and corporate clients reach their property objectives.
Responsibilities:
Review and advise on telecommunications tower, rooftop and communications infrastructure agreements.
Manage leases, licences, easements, access agreements, occupation arrangements and other forms of property tenure.
Review proposed new agreements, renewals, variations, assignments, relocations, upgrades and terminations and assist with rent reviews, market assessments and commercial negotiations.
Advise on access rights, maintenance obligations, make-good requirements, reinstatement and site-management matters.
Liaise with carriers, tower operators, property managers, landowners, government agencies and legal advisers.
Conduct in-depth research to identify suitable properties that meet the client’s specific needs, taking into consideration market conditions, trends, and property specifications.
Support property acquisitions, due diligence processes, and other commercial real estate transactions, ensuring thorough analysis and risk mitigation.
Prepare detailed market reports, financial models, and client presentations to summarize findings and present strategic recommendations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their property requirements and provide tailored advice on portfolio management.
Manage lease data and documentation, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.
Stay informed about industry trends,
market developments and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date and insightful advice.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with both clients and stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service.
Contribute to the development and execution of client strategies and business plans and participate in business development activities.
Who we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Property, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in commercial property, valuations or a related field.
Experience managing or advising on telecommunications leases, licences or tower agreements;
Highly developed research and analytical skills, specifically with a deep understanding of market trends and property valuation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to present complex information to clients in a clear and concise manner.
Solid organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Dedication to providing exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
