Job Description

An An Nhien Pty Ltd t/a Marion Dental Clinic Due to increased workload, we are seeking a full-time experienced Dental Assistant who is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about helping others to join our friendly team in Mitchell Park. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate suction devices, water sprays, and other dental equipment to assist practitioners during treatments.
- Process and develop dental X-rays in accordance with clinic protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Clean, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring strict infection control and cross-contamination prevention.
- Perform routine maintenance and care of dental equipment to ensure proper functioning and hygiene.
- Educate and advise patients on oral hygiene, dental health practices, and post-operative care as directed by the dentist.
- Provide front-desk and administrative support, including booking appointments, maintaining patient records, handling billing, and processing payments when required.
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the dental clinic.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Hold an AQF Certificate III in Dental Assisting or a relevant qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.




- Strong understanding of clinical procedures and infection control protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively within a team.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to patient care and team collaboration.
- Ability working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Reliable, punctual and highly professional.
