Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a QA / Automation Test Engineer. The engineer will design, develop, and maintain test plans and test cases for web and software solutions that support the company’s automotive operations.

Daily responsibilities include executing manual and automated tests, validating new features, identifying defects, and ensuring that system functionality meets defined quality standards. The role involves collaborating with developers and product stakeholders, documenting test results, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. The engineer will also help refine QA best practices and support releases by performing regression testing and quality sign-off.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Software Testing skills, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and SDLC.
- Candidates should possess the ability to design and document clear,



maintainable Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Manual Testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Candidates should possess QA Automation skills, including building and maintaining automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
- Experience with test management tools, bug-tracking systems, and version control (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Git) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and database fundamentals for end-to-end testing is an advantage.
- Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in automotive, logistics, or e-commerce systems is a plus.
