The position would see the occupant work on varied and diverse worksites undertaking tilling project work related to new builds, extensions and repair/renovation jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare walls, floors, and other surfaces for tiling and waterproofing, with some sheeting, patching and flushing associated tasks

· Apply waterproof membranes, sealants, and primers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and relevant building standards.

· Measure, cut,



and install various types of tiles including but not limited to ceramic & porcelain tiles as well as tiles for external applications.

· Lay floor screeds and perform substrate preparation where required.

· Grout, seal, and finish tiled surfaces to a professional standard.

· Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.

· Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects as per scope of works to high-quality standards

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

· Exercise initiative and critical thinking skills

Essential Requirements:

· Trade qualification in the building and construction industry

· Proven experience in wall and floor tiling and waterproofing.

· White card

· Current driver’s licence with own transport to and from BLS workshop

· Current Criminal History Check

· Current Working with Children Check

· Minimum of 2 current professional or educational referees
