We're partnering with an established and growing food manufacturer to recruit an experienced Quality Systems Lead. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the site's Quality Management System while working closely with Production, R&D; and Operations to drive continuous improvement.

About the role Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring quality systems remain effective, compliant and fit for a growing manufacturing workplace.

Key responsibilities include

- Managing and continually improving the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Leading internal audits and supporting external audit preparation
- Managing CAPAs, NCRs and corrective actions to completion
- Coordinating supplier approval and ongoing supplier compliance
- Investigating customer complaints and identifying preventative actions
- Working closely with Production to improve GMP and food safety compliance
- Supporting new product implementation and document control alongside the R&D; team
- Identifying opportunities to simplify,



modernise and improve quality processes

About You - you'll ideally bring:

- Experience within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of BRCGS, GMP and quality management systems
- Experience conducting internal audits and managing CAPAs
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence people across the business
- A continuous improvement mindset and a practical, hands-on approach
- Experience with electronic quality management systems or ERP platforms will be highly regarded.
