Overview Heidelberg Materials is looking to hire multiple process and mobile plant operators for its Perth Hardrock quarry operation located 4km south of Byford. The role involves operating mobile plant and performing general labour or maintenance around the quarry.
Key Responsibilities - Operate and monitor crushing plant and associated machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine plant inspections and preventive maintenance works.
- Assist with plant set‑up, calibration, and shutdown procedures.
- Operate mobile plant equipment (loader, articulated haul truck, skid steer) to support hard‑rock processing operations.
Skills & Experience - Prior experience in fixed plant process operations, fixed or mobile crushing operations, or other screening/mineral processing operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proactive maintenance attitude.
- Experience operating mobile plant and equipment (e.g., loaders, excavators, dump trucks) preferred.
- Ability to work in a team, positive can‑do attitude required.
