About the Role Based at Byford Quarry (4 km south of Byford, accessible from Rockingham and Mandurah). 3:30pm start, 10‑plus‑hour shifts. Carry out secure day‑to‑day operations of mobile plant and other duties around the quarry, including general labour and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities - Operate and monitor crushing plant and associated machinery safely and efficiently.

- Conduct routine plant inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Assist with plant set‑up, calibration, and shutdown procedures.
- Operate mobile plant supporting hard‑rock processing operations (loader, articulated haul truck, skid steer) with opportunities to progress to other mining equipment.

Skills & Experience - Prior experience in fixed‑plant process operations, fixed or mobile crushing operations, or other screening/mineral‑processing operations.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and proactive attitude toward plant maintenance.
- Competence in operating mobile plant and equipment (e.g., loaders, excavators, dump trucks) – additional training provided if needed.
- Positive can‑do attitude.
