Sanitarium Health Food Company is looking for a motivated and reliable Raw Materials / Batch Assembly Operator to join our Berkeley Vale Manufacturing team. This role plays an important part in supporting production by safely and accurately assembling, preparing and supplying raw materials and batched ingredients in line with our quality, food safety and operational requirements. Working as part of a supportive manufacturing team, you will help ensure materials are prepared on time, production standards are maintained, and our workplace continues to operate safely, efficiently and in line with Sanitarium’s values.

Shifts Available

Day Shift 7am - 3pm

Afternoon Shift 3pm - 11pm. Afternoon shift attracts (15% shift loading on base rate)

About the role

- Accurately assemble, mix and prepare raw materials for production.
- Assess raw materials before use and ensure materials are cleared and suitable for production.
- Complete batching, lot tracking and production documentation accurately and on time.
- Monitor process operations and respond to issues, faults or non-conformances.
- Maintain solid food safety, hygiene, allergen control and GMP standards.




- Support cleaning, sanitising and housekeeping requirements across the work area.
- Identify, report and help control workplace health, safety and food safety hazards.
- Work cooperatively with team members, relieve others where required and support new or existing employees as they develop competency.

- Computer literacy is preferred.
- Current forklift licence
