The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our renowned Real Estate Finance practice—consistently ranked Band 1 by Chambers and recognised across the market for its depth, deal-making ingenuity and client-centric approach. The team sits within the Firms Global Loans practice, generating mandates that span the full spectrum of sophisticated real estate finance transactions, from high-value bilateral and syndicated investment facilities to complex development, construction and acquisition financings with multi-jurisdictional or bespoke structuring elements. Acting for all four major Australian banks, many international investment banks, leading domestic and offshore credit funds and a growing cohort of top-tier sponsor clients, we are routinely entrusted with the most significant and high-profile matters in the market.
As a Senior Associate within this first-class practice you will be involved with leading transactions end-to-end,
drafting and negotiating facility, security and intercreditor documentation; managing and mentoring talented junior lawyers; driving matter strategy; and liaising directly with senior stakeholders, sponsors and financiers. You will also play a pivotal role in nurturing key client relationships, contributing to thought leadership initiatives and supporting the ongoing growth of the team through business development, training and knowledge-sharing.
