Your new role
Your new role as a Receptionist will place you at the heart of a dynamic construction company located in the Adelaide CBD.
You will be an integral part of a robust team, responsible for a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
- Act as the primary point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and organised.
- Greet clients upon arrival, providing necessary information and assistance.
- Ensure clients feel comfortable and attended to during their visit.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, ensuring boardrooms are prepared and equipped with required materials.
- Manage diaries and calendars to prevent scheduling conflicts and optimise meeting space usage.
- Monitor and resolve scheduling conflicts to ensure smooth and uninterrupted meetings.
- Communicate with relevant parties to reschedule or adjust meeting times as needed.
- Process of invoices by entering the information for the accounts team to process.
- Maintain organised email records for easy reference and follow-up.
- Handle printing tasks, ensuring documents are accurately produced and distributed to relevant recipients.
- Maintain a system for tracking and managing printed materials.
- Monitor and replenish office supplies, ensuring all necessary items are available for staff use.
- Oversee the kitchen area, ensuring it is stocked with essentials and kept clean and tidy.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Reception and or Administration role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Efficient time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
