Receptionist – Connect Kids Therapy, Woodcroft

Connect Kids Therapy is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and organised Receptionist to become a valued long term member of our friendly team. As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming and professional experience for every child, teen and family who walks through our doors.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, can remain calm and organised in a busy environment, and takes pride in helping a practice run smoothly.

About the role

Working closely with our therapists, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our practice. Your responsibilities will include:

· welcoming children, teens and families to the practice

· helping maintain efficient administrative systems that support outstanding client care

· supporting therapists with day-to-day administrative tasks

· answering telephone and email enquiries

· managing clinician diaries and appointment bookings

· processing invoices and NDIS/ Medicare/HICAPS payments

· assisting with the promotion of our services, including social media

About you

We're looking for someone who thinks proactively and is happy to learn new ways and take ownership of their work while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

As the successful applicant, you will:

· have previous reception experience within an allied health or healthcare setting

· be warm,



friendly and professional in your communication

· be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and taking initiative

· be confident managing multiple tasks in a busy environment

· have excellent computer skills and be quick to learn new systems

· ideally have experience using Cliniko, Xero, Medicare/HICAPS processing and some knowledge of the NDIS (although training will be provided for the right applicant)

This is a permanent part-time position (approx. 23 hours Tuesdays to Fridays) with some flexibility in working hours.
