Recovery Support Worker Location: Braddon, ACT Contract: 6 months Full‑time.
Pay: $40.49 per hour plus super, leave loading and salary packaging options.
Summary: Provide practical, community‑based support to adults experiencing moderate to severe mental‑health challenges, helping them regain, maintain and improve psychosocial skills, self‑management, daily living skills and community connection.
Responsibilities - Support people to identify and pursue personal recovery goals.
- Build the confidence and skills needed to flourish independently.
- Promote inclusion and reduce stigma in community settings.
- Advocate for and create communities that value people with mental‑health challenges.
- Work with individuals, families, carers, friends, kin and community groups to build strong, natural support networks.
Qualifications and Experience - Completion of Certificate IV in Mental Health or Community Services, or equivalent practical experience.
- Capability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to undertake travel.

Checks - Satisfactory police check and Working with Children Check.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Completion of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Module “Quality, Safety and You”.
- Working with vulnerable people check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Employment Details
