Retro Traffic is looking for a proactive and people-focused Recruitment & Onboarding Advisor to join our Rydalmere team. Supporting a workforce of over 600 employees across NSW and Queensland, you'll play a key role in attracting, selecting and onboarding quality talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

About the Role

This is a high-volume end-to-end recruitment role supporting our operational workforce across NSW and QLD.

You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate attraction and interviews through to onboarding, probation support and reporting. Working closely with the Recruitment Manager and operational leaders, you'll help ensure Retro Traffic attracts and retains high-performing employees.

Key Responsibilities

As our Recruitment & Onboarding Advisor you will:

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for operational roles including Traffic Controllers and field-based positions.

- Develop sourcing strategies through SEEK, LinkedIn, referrals and other recruitment channels.

- Screen candidates and conduct phone, video and face-to-face interviews.

- Build and maintain candidate talent pools to support current and future workforce requirements.

- Coordinate reference checks, licences,



qualifications, police checks, D&A; testing and work rights checks.

- Facilitate company induction programs and support new starters through probation.

- Maintain recruitment records, candidate pipelines and reporting through our ATS.

- Produce recruitment reports, monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.

- Partner with operational leaders to understand workforce requirements.

- Support HR initiatives, audits and continuous improvement projects.

About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency status (We are not providing Visa sponsorship for this position).

- 2 years' experience in internal recruitment, talent acquisition or agency recruitment.

- Experience recruiting in high-volume environments; construction, traffic management, infrastructure or logistics experience highly regarded.

- Comfortable working in our Rydalmere offices Monday - Friday.

- Strong communication skills with confidence engaging candidates and stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

- Experience coordinating recruitment compliance and onboarding processes.

- Robust systems capability and confidence learning new platforms.

- Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
