About Us
At Better Rehab, we began with a simple idea: better quality Allied Health services for people living with a disability. This proved to be exactly what the community needed, as Better Rehab has grown into a leading National Allied Health provider. We are looking for a passionate Speech Pathologist to join our team and provide assessments and therapeutic interventions to a variety of people between the ages of 7 and 65 who present with neurological disorders and other types of disabilities.
Job Description
- Provide treatment to a variety of people, assess their needs, design appropriate therapy plans, and advocate on their behalf. Work with participants with a range of conditions including autism, post‑stroke, Parkinson’s, and other neurological disorders.
- Support participants in the disability and neuro sector across a number of areas including adult and child language, social communication, and swallowing/dysphagia by using a range of AAC devices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, and positive behaviour support practitioners to share knowledge and ideas.
- Celebrate "Weekly Wins" with participants, families, colleagues, and the leadership team.
- Attend formal and informal networking and learning opportunities across a national level.
- Report directly to the NDIS.
Remuneration
Full‑time (Permanent). Salary $73,000 - $110,000 + Super.

Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in speech pathology and 1+ years post‑qualification experience; 3+ years for senior positions.
- Own a car and a valid driver’s licence.
- Evidence of Speech Pathology Australia registration, police check, and working with children check.
