Do you love fitness, enjoy motivating others, and thrive in a people-focused environment? We're looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Casual Gym Instructor to join our Recreation Services team at Wickham Recreational Precinct. This is a fantastic prospect to make a positive impact in the community while working in a dynamic fitness environment where no two days are the same.

From conducting fitness assessments and creating personalised programs to helping members build confidence and reach their goals, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, supportive and safe gym experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

What You'll Be Doing

- Conduct health appraisals, fitness testing and body composition scans, providing members with professional advice and feedback
- Design tailored exercise programs that suit individual goals, fitness levels,



and any relevant medical or physical considerations
- Supervise the gym floor, demonstrate correct exercise techniques, and ensure members are training safely and effectively
- Deliver a high-quality member experience through fitness workshops, nutrition guidance, equipment maintenance, and ongoing support

What We're Looking For

- Certificate III in Fitness (or higher) and a genuine passion for health, fitness and helping others succeed
- Experience in fitness assessments, exercise programming, gym operations, and coaching members with varying needs and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, encourage and build positive member relationships
- Current First Aid Certificate, current C Class Driver's Licence, and a National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months)
