Newtons Building & Landscape Supplies is seeking reliable MR, HR and HC Truck Drivers to join our growing team.

Our fleet includes semi tippers, live bottom semi-trailers, truck and dogs, tandems and MR vehicles, all working across South Australia supporting local people, builders, landscapers, civil contractors and major projects.

About the role

Driver duties may include:

Driving MR, HR or HC vehicles depending on your licence class and experience

Completing local deliveries and project work across Adelaide and regional South Australia

Operating semi tippers, live bottom trailers, truck and dogs, tandems or MR vehicles

Following delivery instructions, site directions and maps

Completing daily pre-start vehicle inspections





Picking up and delivering materials safely and accurately

Checking loads for accuracy before delivery

Loading and unloading where required, including some manual loading and unloading at times

Completing paperwork accurately

Carrying out basic vehicle care and reporting maintenance issues

Following all safe work practices, company policies and procedures

Providing professional service to customers, suppliers and site contacts

What we’re looking for

Current MR, HR or HC licence

Reliable, safety-focused drivers

A strong work ethic and positive attitude

Good communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team

Commitment to safe driving and safe loading practices

Willingness to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays where required

Customer-focused approach — our customers always come first

Experience with landscape supplies, building materials, quarry products, tipper work, truck and dog, live bottom or civil transport would be highly regarded, but is not essential for the right person.
