About The Project

Supporting Seqwater, Ventia delivers preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumental services across its water network. Services are carried out across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 reference dams.

About The Role

The Mechanical Tradesperson’s purpose is to deliver work orders, including fault finding, repairs, servicing and renewals of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.

We are looking for Mechanical Tradespeople to help cover the Southern Region.

Candidates must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process.

Key Duties

- Perform and deliver allocated work orders.
- Service,



repair and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes & winches etc.
- Perform administrative tasks and document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network, including attendance at pre‑start meetings.
- Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and procedures.
- Report activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.
