Alcheringa is looking for experienced Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team in Swan Hill on a casual basis. No fixed roster, Just the opportunity to work with an incredible team, make a genuine difference, and pick up shifts that suit your lifestyle.
About the position: As a Casual Registered Nurse, you'll provide safe, contemporary and person-centered clinical care while working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is confident, adaptable and enjoys working across a variety of shifts as required.
Your Responsibilities Will Include Providing high-quality clinical nursing care to residents
Completing resident admissions and comprehensive clinical assessments
Developing, implementing and reviewing individualised care plans
Administering medications safely and accurately
Monitoring residents' health and responding to changes in condition
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Supporting GP rounds and clinical reviews
Providing leadership and guidance to care staff during your shift
Ensuring care is delivered in line with AHPRA standards and Respect policies You'll Have We're seeking experienced Registered Nurses who can confidently step into a busy aged care environment and deliver outstanding clinical care.
To be considered: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated nursing experience (aged care experience is highly regarded)
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Sound knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards
Understanding of aged care accreditation requirements
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements
