The successful candidate will have:

- A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field

- 1+ year of accounting experience

- Experience with Xero, HandiSoft, MYOB, and QuickBooks is desirable

- Proficiency in English, with Chinese preferred

- Valid Australian work rights

- A positive and dependable attitude, with a willingness to be part of our team

- A passion for learning and a solid desire to pursue the CPA or CA program is preferred

Skills and Experience

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong attention to detail, together with effective time management and interpersonal skills

- The ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines

- A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to new technologies

About the Role

- Working in a small team and assisting with general office duties

- Liaising with the ATO and other authorities

- Assisting with the preparation and processing of tax returns and financial statements

- Preparing and lodging BAS and income tax returns





- Communicating directly with clients and providing excellent customer service in a professional manner

- Completing work within time budgets and turnaround times

- Providing support to senior accountants as required

- General accounting and bookkeeping duties
