You'll be one of the first operators in a new production team, with successful candidates travelling to Michigan, USA for 2-3 weeks of fully paid training before commencing in Canning Vale.

The Role

- Setting up and operating CNC press brakes
- Operating CNC laser cutting machinery
- MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Fabricating and assembling components from engineering drawings
- Operating workshop machinery including saws, drills and mills
- Completing assembly, finishing and quality inspections
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards

What You'll Need

Essential:

- Experience in fabrication, manufacturing or metalworking
- Experience operating CNC press brakes or similar machinery
- Basic welding knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using measuring and inspection equipment
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (permanent ongoing work rights essential)
- Robust commitment to safety, quality and teamwork

Highly Regarded:

- Trade qualification in Boilermaking, Fabrication, Sheet Metal or Engineering
- CNC laser cutting experience
- Machining experience
- Forklift and/or overhead crane tickets

Hours

- Monday to Friday
- Day Shift (approximately 7:00am to 3:30pm)
- Occasional overtime available

Start Dates

- Onboarding throughout August
- Paid training in Michigan, USA for 2-3 weeks
- Commence in the new Canning Vale facility in early September
