About the role
Burleigh Heads & Tweed Heads South Carpet Court is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in Tweed Heads South, NSW, offering an exciting opportunity to drive sales and build client relationships within the flooring and carpet industry. As a Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our business, responsible for generating revenue, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service to both residential and commercial clients. This role is integral to our continued growth and success in the competitive flooring market.

Key responsibilities

- Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building with potential clients

- Presenting and demonstrating carpet and flooring products to clients, highlighting key features, benefits, and value propositions

- Conducting product consultations and providing tailored recommendations based on customer needs, budgets, and preferences

- Negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions to close sales whilst maintaining profitability and company margins

- Preparing accurate quotations, proposals, and contracts for clients and ensuring timely follow-up

- Managing and maintaining a strong pipeline of leads and prospects throughout the sales cycle

- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals

- Collaborating with the installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction

- Staying informed about product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings to remain competitive

- Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators

- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions,



sales activities, and customer data within company systems

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Consultant, ideally within the flooring, carpet, home improvement, or retail sectors

- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently, with a strong track record of closing deals

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients

- Robust negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections professionally and persuasively

- Knowledge of flooring products, materials, and installation processes is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided

- Self-motivated and results-driven with excellent time management and organisational abilities

- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications

- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport to visit client sites and conduct meetings

- The ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team

- Professional appearance and a commitment to upholding high standards of customer service

- Enthusiasm for learning about new products and developments within the flooring industry
