We are on the hunt for enthusiastic Retail Assistant/Body Piercers to join our team!

No piercing experience? No problem. While piercing experience is highly regarded, we welcome applicants from retail, customer service, beauty, jewellery and hospitality backgrounds. We provide comprehensive training and nationally recognised certifications to help you build a successful and rewarding career in body piercing.

The Role

We are seeking passionate, customer-centric individuals to join our team as a Retail Assistant/Body Piercer. If you love connecting with people, have a passion for jewellery, fashion, beauty or self-expression, and enjoy delivering exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're an experienced Body Piercer, a retail superstar, or someone looking to build a rewarding career in a unique and growing industry, SkinKandy provides the training, support and development opportunities to help you succeed.

As part of our retail team, we are looking for individuals who are flexible and willing to work across multiple store locations within the local region when required. This is a great opportunity to broaden your experience, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to our growing store network.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering an unparalleled experience for every client through:

- Delivering a premium customer experience
- Performing body piercings to the highest standard of care and precision




- Offering exceptional product knowledge and advice to ensure our clients are informed, feel safe and comfortable throughout their piercing experience
- Maintaining a safe clinical setting in line with our world leading hygiene standards

We provide extensive world-class training, so if you have a keen interest in body piercing and the desire to learn, we will equip you with the skills and certifications you need to begin and excel in your piercing career.

What we are looking for:

- A genuine passion for the Body Piercing/Jewellery industry
- A natural ability to connect with people and deliver world-class service
- The desire to learn and grow, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment
- A team player who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety and compliance
- Retail, beauty or customer service is preferred but not essential – we will provide full training for those who demonstrate the SkinKandy values and mindset!
- Flexibility to work across varying hours including weekends and evenings
- Willingness to work across multiple store locations within the local area when required

Before you Start

- All SkinKandy Body Piercers require Maintaining Infection Control certification (HLTINF005) prior to commencement. Don't have this? We will assist you so you can begin or continue your piercing career!
- This online training is essential to keep you and your customers safe. We will tell you more about the MIC training during the interview process.
- Whist piercing experience is fantastic – our training program is world class, so we will teach you the skills to be an amazing body piercer (so many of our team started out just like you) - we are looking for people who are committed and serious about learning to be a body piercer.
