About the Position:

Join our dedicated production team as a Chemical Packer, where safety, accuracy, and quality are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you will be responsible for packing hazardous and non hazardous chemicals into bottles and drums, accurately labelling finished products,



and preparing raw materials according to production work orders.

A high level of attention to detail is essential to ensure the correct batches, labels, and product codes are applied at every stage of the process. You will also play an important role in maintaining a safe workplace by identifying and reporting hazards, incidents, and near misses.

In addition to this, you will help maintain a clean and organised production environment, participate in toolbox talks and ongoing training, and, if appropriately licensed, safely operate a forklift to support production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Packing hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals in bottles and drums of various sizes, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Packing raw materials with care and precision for production.
- Accurately labelling chemical containers to ensure safety and compliance.
- Stacking products on pallets and wrapping them securely for safe transport.
- Following work orders to ensure correct batch numbers, codes, and caps are applied.
- Identifying hazards and near-misses, reporting them,



and participating in root cause analysis to enhance safety.
- Performing housekeeping duties with 5S methodologies to maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Participating in toolbox talks and training sessions to stay informed and safe.
- Safely operating a forklift to efficiently move and organise products (if licenced).

About You:

- 1-3 years' experience in production, picking/packing and/or a manufacturing environment or similar position.
- A strong, dedicated work ethic with a commitment to excellence.
- Willing to learn, cross train, and contribute to different areas of the business.
- Thorough attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks with focus and consistency.
- A dedicated team player, committed to working together and supporting colleagues.
- Willing to and capable of wearing a respirator for extended periods to maintain safety and compliance.
- Physically capable of lifting, bending, stooping, and performing manual tasks of 20+kgs in weight.
- A current forklift licence is preferred, but not essential.
- Completed a Dangerous Goods Awareness course and/or Transport of Dangerous Goods, is highly advantageous.
