The Opportunity
An excellent prospect now exists for a commercial litigation lawyer with approximately 1–6 years’ PAE to join the team as a Lawyer or Associate, depending on experience.
This is a broad commercial disputes role offering considerably more variety than many larger-firm positions. You’ll work closely with talented senior lawyers who enjoy mentoring and will be encouraged to take increasing ownership of matters as your experience develops.
Some of the matter types you could expect to be involved in include:
- Contractual and business disputes
- Shareholder, director and partnership disputes
- Property and development disputes
- Corporations Act and Australian Consumer Law matters
- Insolvency-related litigation
- Defamation
- A wide range of other complex commercial disputes
About You
- Approximately 1–6 years’ PAE in commercial litigation
- Strong drafting, research and analytical skills
- A practical and commercially focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail and client communication skills
- Motivation to learn, take responsibility and progress your career
- A collaborative attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working as part of a close team
