The Opportunity

Randstad is recruiting an experienced Senior Mechanical Service Technician to join our client's Fleet Services team in Fulham. You will play a crucial role in maintaining, diagnosing, and fitting out high-priority emergency response vehicles to ensure they remain road-ready.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical repairs and diagnostic fault-finding (engines, brakes, drivelines, fuel injection, A/C, and 12V electrical systems).
- Carry out new vehicle fit-outs, accessory mounting, basic crash repairs, and light welding/fabrication.
- Manage computerized job cards via the Fleet Management System and handle local parts pickup/vehicle transfers.

What You Need

- Trade Qualification: Formal Trade Certificate as an Engineering Tradesperson (Mechanical) or Motor Mechanic.
- Skills: Strong mechanical/12V diagnostic capability, methodical troubleshooting skills, and an analytical mindset.
- Attributes: Excellent team player, reliable, adaptable, and able to strictly follow safety and operational guidelines.
- Licence: Valid Driver's Licence.
