Introduction:
Are you fascinated by digital marketing, technology and understanding how online platforms work?
Do you enjoy learning new tools, analysing data and finding better ways to reach and engage audiences?
Are you looking for an opportunity to build your experience across leading marketing platforms while contributing to meaningful work that supports schools, educators and communities?
Maybe your experience comes from university, an internship, a side project, a small business or something you taught yourself.
You do not need years of agency experience. We care more about your curiosity, initiative and ability to learn quickly.
We are looking for a Junior Digital Marketer who is equally excited by great marketing and the technology that makes it work.
Description:
About Schoolbox
Schoolbox is the growth platform for K-12 schools — bringing learning, communication and wellbeing together in one connected experience. Trusted by schools across Australia, Asia, and the Middle East, our platform helps school communities grow, adapt, and lead with confidence.
With over 25 years of innovation, we’re proud to be an Australian-founded edtech company on a global growth trajectory — scaling fast across international markets while staying true to our purpose: helping great schools grow.
We’re a tight-knit, values-driven team that believes in purposeful work, real relationships, and long-term impact in education. If you're passionate about engineering excellence and want to shape the future of our education technology — we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
This is a genuine development opportunity, not a role confined to junior administration. You will get hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, LinkedIn and Google advertising, Google Analytics, website conversion and performance reporting.
More importantly, you will be trusted with meaningful work, supported by an experienced marketing team and given room to take on greater ownership as your capability grows.
- Building emails, audiences,
automated journeys and nurture activity in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Setting up and monitoring advertising across LinkedIn and Google
- Maintaining campaign tracking across GA4, Google Tag Manager and Salesforce
- Building landing pages, forms and digital campaign components
- Preparing dashboards and reports that show what is working and what is not
- Testing audiences, ads, journeys and conversion pathways
- Investigating issues, asking good questions and helping us improve how our digital marketing works
- Working with campaign, content, creative, events, sales and technical colleagues
You will receive guidance as you learn, but we will also expect you to take initiative, follow through and progressively become more independent.
What we’re looking for
You are probably a graduate or early‑career marketer who:
- Is genuinely curious about digital marketing, platforms, data and technology
- Learns quickly and is confident teaching yourself how unfamiliar things work
- Gets as excited about improving tracking or automation as developing a strong campaign
- Is comfortable with numbers, spreadsheets and performance data
- Notices details and cares about getting things right
- Takes responsibility for finishing work, not just starting it
- Responds constructively to feedback and actively applies what you learn
- Communicates clearly and enjoys working with different specialists
- Brings energy, initiative and ideas without needing to be the loudest person in the room
You do not need experience with every platform we use. Practical exposure to email marketing, CRM, paid advertising, websites or analytics through study,
work or personal projects is a strong starting point.
A relevant tertiary qualification is preferred, but demonstrated capability, curiosity and self‑directed learning matter just as much.
Show Us What You’ve Explored
Perhaps you have:
- Built a website or online project
- Run advertising for a club, small business or side project
- Grown an online audience or community
- Experimented with automation or email marketing
- Completed Google, Salesforce or other platform certifications
- Analysed campaign or website data to improve a result
- Taught yourself a digital tool simply because it interested you
Tell us about it. We are interested in what you tried, how you approached it and what you learned, even if it was not part of a formal job.
What you’ll gain
This role gives you the chance to:
- Build practical capability across major marketing and analytics platforms
- Work on real campaigns with genuine commercial outcomes
- Learn from experienced campaign, content, creative, events and sales specialists
- See how marketing activity connects with leads, opportunities and business growth
- Develop from supported execution into increasingly independent ownership
- Build broad, valuable experience inside a growing Australian technology company
What Schoolbox offers
Join a close, family‑friendly team dedicated to building technology that genuinely matters for schools.
- Competitive base salary + super, commensurate with your experience.
- Flexible and supportive working environment, with the option for hybrid arrangements.
- Employee wellness is core to who we are: wellness allowance, access to an EAP, an extra leave day, purchased leave, and regular training opportunities.
- Regular social events including our quarterly Schoolbox Get Together, regular social events, and more.
If you are motivated, technically curious and ready to turn your interest in digital marketing into serious practical capability, we would like to hear from you.
