The Package: $909.79 - $1,337.19 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Trainee Grade 4-10 of the QPRC Salary System 2026) and Award increases of 4% in 2027-28 and 4% in 2028-2029.

Full time – 35 hours per week.

Are you passionate about supporting our First Nations communities and eager to contribute to wider community growth and well-being across the region? QPRC has an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team through a Community Traineeship.

In this role you will:

- Support the delivery of community programs and events, including free School Holiday Programs and the weekly First Nations Playgroup.
- Assist Council's Aboriginal Community Liaison Officer with the delivery of community events, including NAIDOC celebrations and the annual Reconciliation Walk.
- Gain experience across a range of administrative tasks, including processing invoices, preparing correspondence and reports, and assisting with grant applications.





We are looking for someone who:

- Is a First Nations person with a genuine interest in learning and developing a career in community services.
- Has strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to engage positively with the local community and balance work and study commitments.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, a NSW Working with Children Check.
