The Opportunity

Perfect Stranger is seeking a creative, inspiring, and dedicated retail leader to step into the Store Manager role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on motivating a team, shaping store culture, and creating memorable customer experiences. If you’re passionate about youth fashion, team development, and delivering an exceptional retail environment, this is your chance to lead from the front.

The successful candidate will work a Tuesday–Saturday roster, including late‑night trade.

Responsibilities

- Lead day‑to‑day store operations with a strong floor presence.
- Inspire, coach, and develop a large, diverse team to create future leaders.
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with Universal Store service expectations.
- Drive sales results and ensure store profitability through cost and productivity management.
- Oversee rostering, budgets, and scheduling to meet business and payroll targets.
- Maintain visual merchandising, presentation standards, and store efficiencies.
- Recruit, train, and support team members with clear, honest, and constructive feedback.
- Uphold and model Perfect Stranger’s behavioural expectations, culture, and brand values.





Skills and Experience

- Strong retail background with hands‑on experience across stockroom and shop floor.
- Proven leadership experience as a Store Manager, leading medium to large teams.
- Warm, enthusiastic communicator who leads with positivity and purpose.
- Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
- High attention to detail with a strong understanding of retail profitability.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales results.
- Confident in delivering feedback and communicating effectively at all levels.
