Goodyear Autocare Newcastle is a family-owned and operated business that has proudly serviced the Newcastle and Hunter region for over 20 years. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Retail Sales Assistants to join our growing team across our seven locations:

- Charlestown
- Kotara
- Hamilton
- Glendale
- Wallsend
- Thornton
- Raymond Terrace

Applicants must be willing to travel between our stores on occasion when required by business needs.

About the Role

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You'll be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while assisting with bookings, enquiries, quotations and the day-to-day operation of the store. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in the automotive industry, and takes pride in providing exceptional service.

- A strong customer-first attitude.
- A positive, reliable, and honest work ethic.
- Someone who is motivated, punctual, and ready to work.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain organised.




- A current driver's licence.
- Basic automotive knowledge is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting customers with enquiries and bookings.
- Answering incoming phone calls professionally.
- Preparing quotations and invoices.
- Managing fleet bookings and approvals.
- Coordinating workshop bookings with technicians.
- Completing general administration duties.
- Maintaining a clean, secure and professional store environment.
- Delivering exceptional customer service on every interaction.

Work Schedule

- Monday to Friday
- Every second Saturday
