An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Risk Adviser to join a well-established, client-focused financial planning practice based in regional Victoria.

With an outstanding reputation, a collaborative team and a strong referral network, this role offers the opportunity to focus on what you do best—providing quality insurance advice and protecting clients—without the pressure of cold business development.

About the Role

Working with an established client base and a steady flow of referrals, you will provide strategic personal risk insurance advice to individuals, families and business owners. You will be supported by an experienced administration and advice support team, allowing you to spend more time building relationships and delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include

- Providing holistic personal risk insurance advice, including Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection.
- Conducting client meetings, reviewing existing cover and identifying protection gaps.
- Developing tailored insurance strategies aligned to clients' broader financial goals.
- Preparing and presenting compliant advice recommendations.
- Managing implementation through to policy completion.
- Supporting clients through claims when required, delivering a high level of service during critical life events.
- Building long-term client relationships through ongoing reviews and proactive service.




- Working collaboratively alongside financial advisers, paraplanners and client service professionals.

About You

To be successful you will ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Risk Adviser or Financial Adviser specialising in personal insurance.
- Strong knowledge of Life, TPD, Trauma and Income Protection advice.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for helping clients protect what matters most.
- High attention to detail and strong compliance awareness.
- The ability to manage your own client relationships while working collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant education requirements to provide personal financial advice.
