About the opportunity

Join our upcoming mining shutdown as a Rope Access Level 3, with competitive rates and future ADHOC opportunities following the project.

- Anticipated dates: 8 September – 19 September 2026
- Onboarding deadline: All onboarding requirements must be completed by 31 August 2026
- Please note these dates are currently estimated and subject to change, pending final confirmation from the client.
- FIFO from Perth
- $77 – $90 per hour + 15% nightshift uplift + 2 hours paid travel time
- Rate is dependent on your trade/length of experience within your trade (if applicable).

About you

You're a safety-minded, team-focused tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and contributing to a robust site culture.

You'll bring

- Reside in Perth, WA.
- Minimum three years' experience as a Rope Access Level 3
- Full Australian work rights – passport, birth certificate,



citizenship certificate, or valid work visa
- Hold the following Nationally Accredited Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Rope Access Level 3 experience across mining, resources, shutdowns or heavy industry
- IRATA Level 3 certification & Logbook - Mandatory
- Working at Heights (within 3 years' validity) - Mandatory
- Confined Space Entry (within 3 years' validity) - Mandatory
- Fire Training Qualification (within 4 years' validity) – Mandatory
- Provide First Aid (within 3 years' validity) – Mandatory
- Provide CPR (within 1 year validity) – Mandatory
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence/Photo ID - Mandatory
- Construction White/Blue Card - Mandatory
- Rio Tinto Inducted – Highly Desirable
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
- Genuine commitment to safety – you follow procedures, wear your PPE properly, and speak up when something doesn't look right
- Team player who backs up your crew, communicates well, and helps maintain a positive site culture
