Delivery Driver / Yard Hand – Casual (Immediate Start) Urban Conserve Mullaloo, Western Australia, Australia
About the role: Urban Conserve is a busy tree supply, delivery, and installation business. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our team on a casual basis, starting immediately.
Schedule note:
This role starts with 2 weeks of consistent work right away, then a 3-week break, before returning on a casual or full-time basis. Suits someone flexible and available for intermittent work, or looking for a short-term start with an ongoing arrangement to follow.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering trees, plants, and materials to customer sites around Perth for our landscaping team to install
Visiting various nurseries to collect stock and transport to client locations or to the yard for temporary holding
Assisting with basic plant installs on site
Using our staff app for job sequencing, photos, and sign-off
What we're looking for:
Current WA driver's licence — must hold LR licence or higher
Must hold a White Card
Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
Must be able to obtain/provide a National Police Clearance
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling — trees up to 120kg are moved via team lifts or side-loader/dolly, not solo lifting
Reliable, shows up on time, works the hours rostered
Previous nursery/horticulture or logistics experience preferred but not essential — we'll train the right person
Own transport to get to our Wanneroo yard (Must)
Pay & conditions:
Casual role, starting at $43/hour + super (minimum 6-8 hours per day) — casual rate includes loading
Full time role in future: $30-35/hour (7.5 hours/day) + super
