Transport for NSW - School Crossing Supervisor - Part time - Kanwal Public School

Overview

You’ll become a road safety hero who plays a vital role protecting children, parents, teachers, and local motorists around Kanwal Public School.

The position requires supervising school crossings during the school zone hours of 8:15 AM–9:15 AM and 2:30 PM–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, for a total of 20 hours per fortnight (1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon). You will receive an hourly rate plus superannuation and will also be compensated during school holidays from Term 1 to Term 3.

Responsibilities

- Supervise school crossings during designated hours.
- Maintain vigilance to identify and mitigate potential dangers on roadways.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and motorists.




- Show up reliably in all weather conditions.
- Perform duties as directed by Transport for NSW safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Willingness to obtain or provide a current Working with Children Check.
- Reference checks, police check, and health assessment are required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Reliable and able to work in all weather conditions.
