An exciting opportunity exists to join our unique team as the Care Coordinator/Nurse. You will oversee daily room setup for arriving guests, coordinate closely with reception and cleaning teams, manage the rostering of support workers to meet service needs, and maintain effective communication with SCI service agencies and health professionals to ensure seamless, high‐quality care.
This is a permanent Part‐time position, requiring 28 hours per week with regular weekend work, short shifts, and rotating rosters.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical nursing care – Provide assessment, management and treatment for guests with spinal cord injury (SCI), including wound care, bowel care and catheter care.
- Education and training – Deliver education to guests and their family or support network, depending on experience.
- Guest room coordination – Manage daily room setup for arriving guests and coordinate with reception and cleaning teams.
- Support worker rostering – Allocate and roster support workers to meet service needs.
- Professional communication – Maintain effective communication with SCI service agencies and health professionals.
About You
- AHPRA Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with a minimum of 2 years post‐registration experience.
- Clinical experience working with people living with spinal cord injury.
- Available to work shifts that are rostered over a 7‐day week, including public holidays.
- Demonstrated people management and/or supervision experience within a diverse workforce setting.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
- Demonstrated time‐management ability and experience working to time frames.
- Demonstrated competence in high‐level interpersonal communication, negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Understanding and working experience of quality and safety improvement processes and their implementation.
- Excellent computer literacy.
