Task & responsibilities

- Manufacture custom cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, and other joinery items from detailed drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and fit timber, laminates and other cabinet-making materials using hand and power tools
- Operate woodworking machinery and computer-controlled equipment to produce cabinetry components with accuracy
- Install completed cabinetry and joinery in office, ensuring a high standard of finish and compliance with project requirements
- Apply edging, laminates, hardware, and other finishing materials to complete products
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation
- Liaise professionally with supervisors, clients and other trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently
- Carry out repairs, adjustments and maintenance to existing cabinetry when requiredMaintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with workplace health and safety procedures

Qualification & experience





- Certificate III in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a related trade qualification
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Ability to accurately read and interpret workshop drawings and plans
- Experience using woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team
