Business Development Manager - NDIS & Community Services

Our client, a well‑established and growing NDIS service provider, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives, strengthen referral pathways, and build meaningful stakeholder relationships across the disability, health, and community services sectors.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, increasing participant referrals, and expanding the organisation's presence within the NDIS and broader community services landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive participant growth and increase referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Allied Health professionals, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), and community stakeholders.
- Identify new partnership opportunities and represent the organisation at industry events, networking forums, and community engagements.
- Manage a pipeline of referral opportunities, track performance, and provide regular growth reporting.




- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure services meet market needs and deliver positive participant outcomes.

Essential Requirements

- Demonstrated success in growing referral networks and generating new business opportunities.
- Established connections within the NDIS, healthcare, community services, or disability support sectors.
- Robust understanding of the NDIS environment and participant journey.
- Exceptional relationship‑building, networking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Commercial acumen and a results‑driven mindset.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel locally when required.
- Full Australian working rights.

Highly Desirable

- Experience working with an NDIS registered provider.
- Existing relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, and allied health professionals.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Community Services, Health, or a related field.
