MedTran NSW, a division of Able Corporate Transport is seeking an applicants as a Casual Injured Persons Driver to join our team in the Central Coast / Newcastle Region NSW. This is a casual position that will involve transporting injured individuals to and from medical appointments and other essential appointments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Providing door-to-door transportation services for injured clients
- Assisting clients with entering and exiting the vehicle, and any other special assistance they may require
- Maintaining a clean and well-equipped late model vehicle to ensure a comfortable journey for all passengers
- Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the secure transport of clients
- Providing a friendly and empathetic service to put clients at ease
- Liaising with Managers to coordinate transportation schedules
What we're looking for
- A valid driver's licence and a good driving record
- Current Car licence (C class) is required for this position
- Experience in a customer service or patient transport role
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in customer service or patient transport is essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, patient and empathetic demeanour
- The ability to handle physically and emotionally demanding situations with care and professionalism
- A commitment to providing the highest standard of service to our clients
- Australian citizenship is required for this role
