I'm currently representing a leading global manufacturer within the solar and energy storage sector that is looking to appoint a Sales director to drive growth across Western Australia's Commercial & Industrial and Utility scale (C&I;) PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) market.

This is an opportunity to join an established manufacturer with ambitious growth plans across Australia and play a key role in expanding market share, developing strategic channel partnerships, and growing sales across the WA market.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales growth across Utility scale/C&I; Solar and BESS solutions throughout Western Australia.
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the commercial energy market.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, installers, EPCs, developers and channel partners.
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase market penetration.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through to contract award.
- Maintain a solid pipeline of opportunities and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Represent the business at industry events, customer meetings and networking functions.
- Provide regular market intelligence and competitor insights.

Requirements




- Minimum 2 years' experience selling Solar PV and/or BESS solutions within Western Australia.
- Existing network across installers, distributors, developers amd EPCs or the broader renewable energy market.
- Proven hunter mentality with a track record of winning new business and developing new accounts.
- Experience working for a solar, battery, inverter, energy storage or related technology manufacturer highly regarded.
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a WA territory.
- Additional project management experience will be viewed favourably.
