Role Description This full-time, on-site SAP GTS role is based in Melbourne, VIC. The SAP GTS professional will design, configure, and support global trade services processes, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and alignment with business requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business processes, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and implementing SAP GTS solutions that integrate with related modules such as SAP FICO and master data management. The role involves troubleshooting system issues, optimizing workflows, preparing documentation,
and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement. The SAP GTS specialist will also provide user training, participate in testing activities, and contribute to project delivery timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization, with experience mapping requirements to SAP GTS solutions.
- Excellent Analytical Skills for interpreting data, diagnosing issues, and proposing effective system and process improvements.
- Consulting experience, including stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, and delivering transparent recommendations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and its integration points with SAP GTS.
- Knowledge of Master Data management principles, governance, and maintenance within SAP environments.
- Experience implementing or supporting SAP GTS in a corporate or consulting setting, ideally in complex or multi-country environments.
- Familiarity with global trade compliance regulations, customs processes, and export/import controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Melbourne, VIC, and manage multiple priorities within project timelines.
