Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with 6+ years of SAP consulting experience to deliver functional support, solution design, and project delivery across a large SAP ECC 6.0 ERP environment . You’ll support SAP EAM (Plant Maintenance) , Procurement (MM) , and Logistics (SD) business processes—driving production support, system enhancements, and project initiatives while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Continuous Improvement

- Provide functional support across SAP EAM, MM, and SD modules.
- Analyse and resolve incidents, defects, and service requests.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with developers, Basis, Security, and Integration teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation.

Functional Consulting & Project Delivery

- Gather and analyse business requirements.
- Configure SAP standard functionality and prepare functional specs.
- Conduct impact assessments and support SIT/UAT testing.
- Develop documentation and facilitate end‑user training.

? Functional Expertise SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

- Work Order Management, Maintenance Notifications
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Equipment and Functional Locations
- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Integration with Procurement, Inventory & Finance





SAP Materials Management (MM)

- Source‑to‑Pay processes, PRs & POs
- Goods Receipt, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification
- Service Procurement, Contracts, Vendor Master Data
- Release Strategies & Approval Workflows

SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)

- Order‑to‑Cash processes
- Sales Order Management, Delivery Processing, Billing
- Customer Master Data

? Stakeholder Engagement

- Collaborate with business users to define requirements and recommend SAP best practices.
- Support workshops, testing, and production deployments.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

? Essential Skills & Experience

- Minimum 6 years’ SAP functional consulting experience .
- Solid hands‑on expertise in SAP EAM/PM, MM, and SD .
- Experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 production environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes and SAP integration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

? Desirable

- SAP Certification in PM/EAM, MM, or SD.
- Experience in Utilities, Energy, or Infrastructure industries.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Exposure to both BAU support and project delivery.
