An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Solution Architect to join a large, complex enterprise undertaking a significant SAP S/4HANA Finance Upgrade. Working within a high-performing project team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and innovative digital solutions that support a major business transformation initiative.

This is an initial 4-month contract based in Brisbane CBD, with the potential for extension.

As the Solution Architect, you will work across the full solution lifecycle—from requirements gathering and architecture through to development, testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical specialists to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design end-to-end digital solutions within the SAP S/4HANA technology landscape.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership throughout project delivery.
- Design, build, test and deploy custom digital solutions aligned with the existing SAP ecosystem.
- Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, scalable and maintainable through best-practice architecture and design.
- Provide advice on solution costings, governance, operational requirements and privacy considerations.




- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing support and knowledge transfer.

Experience and Skills required:

- Seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architectwith demonstrated experience and background in SAP Delivery
- Experience working on SAP S/4 HANA Finance Transformation or upgrade projects
- Demonstrate at least one completed SAP Upgrade projectand what it looks like in practice from an end to end perspective
- Solid understanding of SAP architecture, integrations, APIs and enterprise application design.
- Experience designing and delivering custom solutions across the SAP technology stack.
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, database technologies and secure application design.
- Experience with modern web technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript and tools such as Git and secure software development practices.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate with the Board
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience within large, complex enterprise or government environments will be highly regarded.
