Our client is seeking an SAP Security Systems Analyst to join their Corporate Finance team, focusing on Risk, Access & Controls across a complex SAP environment.

Role Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Sydney or Melbourne | Hybrid working (2-3 days per week in the office)

Salary: $140,000-$170,000 package (including superannuation)

Eligibility: Due to the sensitive nature of the work and the organisation's Government and Defence contracts, this role is open to Australian Citizens only.

The OpportunityReporting to the SAP Security Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring SAP security, access, risk, and governance are effectively managed across the organisation.

This role goes beyond technical configuration — it’s about analysing data, identifying transaction risks, and delivering sustainable solutions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Finance and IT to understand end-to-end business processes and proactively improve the control environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage SAP role and access requests across ECC and BTP environments
- Analyse and remediate Segregation of Duties (SoD) and Sensitive Access risks
- Perform daily monitoring and reporting of risk exposure and mitigating controls
- Maintain and enhance the GRC tool (Soterion), including rulesets and controls
- Investigate issues,



identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions (not just quick fixes)
- Partner with stakeholders across IT, Finance, and external providers to drive timely outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of risk, control, and governance frameworks

About You

- Proven experience in SAP Security / GRC, ideally within a large, complex organisation
- Strong understanding of SoD, Sensitive Access, and SAP Finance processes
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify risks, and drive remediation
- Experience managing BAU workloads (e.g. tickets) with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable solutions
- Solid analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator, able to engage stakeholders and clearly articulate your approach
- Familiarity with audit, risk management, and identity & access management concepts
