Local Minesite Security Officer - Kalgoorlie, WA

Location: Kalgoorlie, Western Australia

Full Time Position – Permanent

Potential earnings up to $100,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Permanent full-time positions
- 7 days on / 7 days off roster
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Highly safety and security focused, with ability to think on the go
- 5 weeks annual leave
- Above award salary of $100,000
- Monitoring site activity, identifying irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons or unusual occurrences
- Respond to incidents in a calm and confident manner
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Exceptional reporting skills
- High level of personal presentation and conduct
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to comply with all policies and procedures

Qualifications





- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a security guard in a similar role
- Current and valid WA security licence
- Current and valid WA "C" Class driver’s licence
- Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR
- Ability to walk, stand and sit for long periods of time
- Excellent and proven computer and administrative skills
- Full, unlimited right‑to‑work in Australia
- Must be able to pass pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol test
- Commitment to work day and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts
- Local resident of the Kalgoorlie/Boulder district only
