Daisy's Garden Supplies is a respected Victorian family-owned business. We have been supplying high quality building, garden & landscaping supplies to Melbourne, Geelong and beyond for nearly 45 years. The Daisy's team currently consists of over 200 people, working across 9 stores and 4 production sites, from Pakenham to Torquay and Colac. We are excited to be opening a 10th store in August in Mornington, and we have an prospect for a Yard Person to join the team on a full-time basis.

What you will do:

This position presents an excellent chance to build a rewarding long-term career.

As a Yard Person you will:

- Load customer orders and unload deliveries using a front end loader, forklift and manual handling
- Provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate traffic movement and flow in the yard
- Maintain yard stock levels, presentation and cleanliness
- Perform daily equipment checks





This role does require manual handling and repetitive heavy lifting.

The Mornington store will open Monday to Friday 7am to 4:30pm, and Saturday 7:00am - 4pm. Full time hours of work across those days will be agreed with the successful applicant.

Skills & experience:

The successful applicant will be someone who has:

- Strong experience operating a front end loader
- An ability to form friendly and positive customer relationships
- Good physical fitness to handle regular repetitive and heavy manual handling tasks.
- Experience loading trucks, trailers & utes preferred.
- Forklift licence and experience in a similar industry advantageous but not essential.
