Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Scrum Master / Release Manager supporting AI-driven healthcare research and software projects. The role involves facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure efficient delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

The Scrum

Master / Release Manager will maintain and refine backlogs, help craft clear and actionable user stories, and coordinate release schedules and dependencies with stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring progress, identifying impediments, supporting continuous improvement, and promoting agile best practices tailored to clinical and research environments. The role also requires clear communication with researchers, developers, and clinical partners to align timelines, manage risks, and ensure compliance with quality and governance standards.

Qualifications

Strong agile delivery skills, including experience with sprint planning and managing iterative development cycles.





Ability to work with user stories and translate complex clinical or research requirements into transparent, actionable tasks.

Solid analytical skills to interpret project metrics, identify bottlenecks, and support data-informed decisions.

Excellent communication skills for coordinating remote teams, facilitating meetings, and engaging diverse stakeholders.

Familiarity with software development processes and collaboration with engineering teams in an agile environment.

Experience as a Scrum Master, Release Manager, or similar role; agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM, Protected) are beneficial.

Background or strong interest in healthcare, clinical research, or AI/ML-based products is an advantage.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage part-time hours effectively, and adapt to evolving project needs.
