Your New Role We are seeking experienced Scraper operators to support ongoing mining and earthmoving activities. Working a 14/7 roster, you will alternate between one swing of day shifts and one swing of night shifts while operating Caterpillar 657 Twin Power and 631 Single Power scrapers in a production-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Protected and efficient operation of Caterpillar 657 Twin Power and 631 Single Power scrapers
- Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting defects
- Working to production targets while maintaining safety standards
- Following site procedures and operational requirements
- Maintaining equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
Roster & Rates: 14/7 roster 1 week days / 1 week nights Day Shift: $58.00 per hour Night Shift: $80.00 per hour DIDO option available if requested with accommodation paid for.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience operating 657 Twin Power and/or 631 Single Power scrapers
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong safety focus and commitment to site procedures
- Ability to work both day and night shifts
- Reliable work ethic and ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Must be willing to complete a police check
