West Carr & Harvey is seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant or Manager to assist with the following:

· Attending to compliance related activities, including the preparation of financial reports and tax returns

· Providing medium level technical and non-technical advice for clients

· Mentoring and developing junior accountants

· Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

The successful applicant will:

· Have completed an accounting related degree

· A minimum of 3 years’ professional practice experience

· Be CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)

· Have a good understanding of general accounting and tax principles

· Have previous experience in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns

· Work effectively both independently and in a team environment

· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience using Xero and FYI software will also be highly regarded.
