The Role

You will be an experienced Senior Accountant or Business Advisory Client Manager with strong technical capability, attention to detail and a proactive mindset. This role combines tax compliance, advisory work and client management. You will work closely with the Senior Associate while also acting as a key point of contact for both clients and junior team members.

You will enjoy the technical aspects of tax and compliance work while also supporting higher-level advisory conversations with clients around tax planning, structuring and business decisions.

The role is full time, with flexibility around working hours in a fully remote workplace.

What the role looks like

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies and trusts, including outputs generated by our internal automation and AI systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance before client delivery




- Supporting ongoing tax compliance and advisory work across our client portfolio within a firm that completes year-end reporting significantly earlier than most practices through automation and strong systems. Our FY25 compliance cycle was completed by November 2025
- Working with complex tax matters including Div 7A, CGT, FBT and GST in collaboration with our internal tax specialists
- Preparing cashflow forecasts and financial insights for clients
- Supporting tax planning and advisory discussions with clients
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies where required
- Building strong relationships with clients and supporting them throughout their business journey
- Supporting and coordinating junior team members where required

Is this role for you?

It might be if you:
- Have 5+ years experience in a similar public practice role
- Have strong experience in tax compliance and client management
- Are fluent in written and spoken English
- Have excellent organisation and process management skills
- Are comfortable working in a remote / work-from-home environment
- Enjoy working directly with clients and building relationships
- Love technology and are comfortable working in modern cloud systems
- Have experience with Xero (the majority of our clients operate on Xero)
- Are curious and interested in working in a firm that is embracing automation and AI
